South Korea works by using a centralized democratic republic kind of government, thus owning the Formal name of the Republic of Korea. It's got 3 branches that are the executive, legislative, and judicial branches.

The southern and western aspects of the peninsula have well-developed plains, while the eastern and northern components are mountainous. The highest mountain in Korea is Mount Paektu (2,744 m), through which runs the border with China. The southern extension of Mount Paektu 파라곤 is a highland called Gaema Heights. This highland was mainly raised during the Cenozoic orogeny and partly covered by volcanic matter. To the south of Gaema Gowon, successive high mountains can be found together the japanese Coastline in the peninsula.
